Addy do you have any recent photos of your bog or were the ones you posted up above updated ones?

that was last summer. It is getting dark, here is part of it now
The blue forgetmenot is just starting to bloom.
The miniature sea oats (in the background) are just starting to grow. Neat small sea oats grasses, loved them as a kid on the dunes of the outer banks, the tall ones where there.
I have my anti heron fencing up, but the harry has not come back recently

Addy your bog plants all look so good. I look forward to mine filling it and hopefully helping to keep my pond as clear as yours.

They are just starting to bloom, some are just starting to grow. In about a month we will have a ton of flowers. We are hitting 85 tomorrow (maybe) lol at least the pond will warm again. It is down to 52 again.

The miniature sea oats have seeded the back wall of the bog, this summer it will be almost totally covered in sea oats. Just what I wanted it to do . It all takes time lol

The low green mats are the blueforgetmenot's they were plants about 2 inches in size when I put them in. Just beginning to bloom, they bloom all summer

The rush was from two small pots. It tends to grow quite well

These pictures are from march of 2011

June 2011 The miniature sea oats are the grasses in the back. Get neat brown sea oat seed heads by the end of summer

You can see how the growth went crazy in just a few months

I am happy with it. Love the flowers and plants that grow so well.
