Filter media

I read something here recently about someone buying plastic strapping to put in plastic bags for a filter media but I could not locate in the search function. I have read here where a lot of pond folks don't really care for the "classic" skippy filter,
but I have had mine for 12 years and rarely dump and clean everything - other than the muck on the bottom. I use green scrubbing pads which I rinse off in pond water occasionally. After adding my second pond the water is very clean. I would appreciate a link to where I could buy the strapping.

Savio Springflo. But you put it in a mesh bag, not a plastic bag.

You don't need to put it in a bag at all actually, I just have mine loose in a barrel.
