I have a large pond that was here when we moved in. It was said to have been clay lined, but it's not holding water.
I've had two companies come out and give me two different thoughts.
One was to dig it back some and rebuild the suspected area using the material mixed with bentonite clay.
The other is suggesting relining the area with regular clay.
I've seen that bentonite shouldn't be mixed with dirt to be effective, but an not sure if the validity of regular clay lining.
Anyone have any thoughts between the two?
