So my wife and I decided to add to the garden by building a couple of frog habitats with pre-formed pond liners. The idea is to attract frogs naturally if at all possible (we're not far from natural stream and forested area even though we are in the burbs).

Any suggestion on how to increase the chances of luring them next year? Worse case scenario is we have a nice planted water garden area...

Oh, and between the 2 pond forms, I took some old liner I had left over and created a "bog" area to put marginals and any plants that can stand "wet feet"... likely rushes and grasses...

In my experience, "if you build it, they will come!" We had frogs in our pond before we even finished filling it.

Very pretty habitat you have created!

Very nice! I had to keep chasing frogs out from under the liner when I was building the pond, they couldn't wait for water!
