Since the frogs moved in the toads moved out. Used to see a ton of them, have only seen one so far this year and it was a tiny one.

I can say it's hard to tell the difference from pics to maryland green frog and our Bullfrogs. They look almost identical. Looking at threex pic I would say Bullfrog but then looking at the pic Addy posted I'm not sure if it's one or the other. How big is the frog that Threex posted? Looks like a big fellow and if bigger than a human fist I would still say probably Bullfrog, smaller than a fist. I really don't know.

When I go to the website, they have a sound file, sounds just like ours and here is how they say to tell what it is, or at least help.

To distinguish this species from other ranid frogs, look for the dorsal-lateral fold; in the green frog this fold is present and extends to the sacrum, or mid back region.

We hear it calling during the day a lot.

That being the case it's probably a Maryland green frog, baby bull frogs will pass that up about a month after they lose their tail, 6-7" sitting down by the end of the first growing season. We have one that stays out by the swimming pool that is probably close to 10" sitting and well over 24" stretched out! Thankfully he hates coming near the big pond.

not too big, maybe 4 inches long?

Yep mine range from a few inches to maybe 4, not stretched out counting legs.
