I ran out of Likes again yesterday, but held off today, and was able to like some more tonight!
Great pics everyone! JW, your hubby is very handsome, and Addy you and your husband look marvelous! I'm hoping to get a "family" pic taken in January with my kids on our cruise. Probably will never get them dressed up unless a wedding. LOL Love having an excuse to get dressed up myself.

Yee Haw I got my likes back and yes my dear one does most of the cooking now that he's retired. He like to cook and I don't
Now THERE is one thing we do NOT have in common! I only cook over an open fire, preferably on a rock island in some out-of-the-way lake, and even then only to ward off starvation!

My honey cooks, if thinks I am tired or just to be nice, but he prefers that I cook!

See I worked for years on this plan of mine. When I cooked I cooked like I was feeding an army, like if having spaghetti I would make a 5 gallon tub of it and then we would eat on it for days..........a bit of an exaggeration but you get the point. I think most people don't like to eat like that but I don't mind.........well think he does so rather than have to eat like I fix he would rather cook and eat something different each night now that he's retired so its a win, win for me and him. He gets what he wants and I don't have to cook...............oh am I bad :D

My meal tonight is leftover from Mexican restaurant for lunch! And, I had a "free dinner" ticket, so got 2 meals for free. Can't beat that!!!
I used to love to cook, but now I do other things after work since only come home to me ... never know what I'll pull out for supper. Soup and sandwich, southwest salad, tv dinner ... usually pretty easy. Need to make more nice big meals on weekends for leftovers. I love leftovers, but I have friends that will NEVER eat leftover food! I told him he would go hungry at my house. LOL

We've been eating turkey soup that hubby made for days now.......think he's picking up my habit of cooking for an army! Even gave some to the neighbors. I think we are going to freeze the rest and eat later. Only thing is the potatoes always dissolve when frozen. Makes a nice thick soup tho and one can always add fresh tators
