Climates are different from county to county a few here from Va have such different climates it amazes me .I know when I go to Martinsville VA it is at least 10 degrees warmer than my house and I'm about 15 minutes from there and even Danville is warmer and thats 20 minutes

Hi Justin, Welcome. That's smart to start smaller. It 's less work and you can always get more ambitious as you get more experienced. Almost everyone here has started with a small pond ie. less than 1000 US gallons.
