Hello,
I'm a wife and mother of 8 year old twins (boy and a girl) we have chickens, 2 dogs, a cat, 2 rabbits and a parrot. I have always wanted a pond and finally talked my husband into making me one last year. It is still very much a pond in construction. I'm already wishing I made it bigger and seeing different things we messed up with. I do have koi in it and somehow I ended up with goldfish which I did not put in so the eggs must have hitched a ride. haha

So, tell us a little about your pond. How big is it? Do you have plants? We love to see pictures, if you have any.

And 8-year olds sound like the perfect age to be interested in ponding -- got you a couple of good helpers!
