Hi All,
First of all let me thank all of you for the great information I have gotten from this forum. Nice, knowledgeable and willing to share people on this forum.
I've had a nice pond for 15 years but because of some serious winter loss (mostly my fault) of some very nice shubunkins, this year I've decided to replace them with butterfly koi and some pond upgrades like a heater and aeration. Northern Utah is a great place to live but the winter does bring some challenges (like almost 5 feet of snow and some cold) for "pondaholics". With the advice I've gotten here next winter will be better for the fish if not the humans.
Best regards,
R Rees
