A little bit about me...
Im 21 years old, from Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. I have got a 4 month old daughter called Ellie-Mai and i am a Service Engineer for a company that supply and maintain Casino Equipment.
I got my first Aquarium when i was 9 years old (36" x 15" x 15") and then when i was 15 me and my dad built a garden pond. Ive moved out now and my dad has still got the Aquarium and the Pond (he wanted to keep them and wouldnt let me take either with me!) haha.
I have now got my own house and i am setting up a little pond of my own. At the moment i have got a small half-whiskey-barrel, approx 100 litres with 3 x golfish in it.
My filter is the Hozelock Easy Clear 6000, obviously this is overkill for a small barrel.
I have also got a 4' x 3' x 2' container (similar to a koi quarantine tank) that i wish to put my goldfish from the barrel into and add whatever else that i can. This is not yet set up, i only got given it on Saturday.
It is about 680 litres, 150 imperial gallons.
What sort of stocking levels would i be looking at? Could i have a couple of Golden Tench and 1 or 2 Koi Carp?
