Help. Need to add water to my pond quickly.

Hi. My husband accidently almost completely drained my small pond. I have one large comet/goldfish that is about 10 years old. There is enough water that he (or she) is covered but I wondered how to safely refill the pond as quickly as possible. It is a small pond...only about 2' by 4' and 30' deep at its deepest. Thanks.

get dechlorinator in there and find a way to mist the water in, the finer the spray the better, this will help breakdown the chlorine/chlorimine and help get the temp as close to air temp as possibly, once it's full enough for the fish to be safe then slow it down some. Good Luck!

You should be ok, just get the chlorine out of the water.

Candy, Welcome to the forum. I let my water sit with the declor in 5 gallon buckets. The declor they sell at the stores says it work instantly, but I usually let mine sit 12-24 hours anyways just to play it safe,
