Help with Pond Pump Please

I am posting this for a friend of mine. His Aquascape Tsunami quit working after only 2 years of usage. Is there a place in the NY/NJ area that repairs pond pumps or pumps in general? He went to purchase a new one and they wanted $750. He obviously would rather get it repaired than buy a new one. He isnt opposed to mailing it somewhere outside the NY/NJ area to get repaired either.

Did he check online to see if there are any places or contact aquascape to see if they know a place that may help him .I thought they had a warranty also
