I joined this forum about a year ago. Posted my present pond problems at the time (thank you koiguy and dr dave for your advice, your suggestions helped). Since then my sister's dog fell in my small pond and punctured the liner, so I decided it was time to 'upgrade' to one larger pond instead of 2 smaller ones. Pond is complete (redesigned patio is getting there) and my fish seem quite happy. I also posted that I believed to have a baby fish born in my pond. Shilo is alive and well. Some day soon (I hope) I will get some good pictures to show off my 'pets'. One problem...the anchor worms are back. I must have bought another koi infested with them a few months ago, will begin treatment as soon as my medication arrives.
