the three pix are before i built my first filter, as an add on to the tetra pond. the tetra pond is gravity fed 3 stage filter feeding a 27 gal heavy duty tote bin,skippy style filter, actually very efficient. i still use it on the basement pond the skippy part has never been nor needed cleaning. my tetra pond collects virtually all solid wastes. i occasionally clean that,usually just clean the pre pump filter. the fourth is just a shot of progress on the redo.

notice the blocks around burm to the side of shed in the redo picture...they used to be around pond. i pulled out the timbers that used to surround the burm

how big is your pond...personally i like the way that the round rocks look better
