Amazing!!!! I just bought my first lily and I have no idea what color it will be but I see one coming up. Do you know when you buy them what color they will be? So lovely!

Depends, if bought from a store, most likely, they should be named and have a color.

I got some from a person with a pond, they thought the lilies were pink and they were, but what kind no clue. But they are pretty. Almost all of mine are hardies.

The first four photos are Albert Greenburg. Two flowers, the 4th photo shows both flowers. Some of the photos are second day or third day flowers from the 7/05 post. Some are flowers that opened yesterday. I have five hardies, three night bloomers and about 50 different day blooming tropicals. I received 20 different tropical tubers this year in trades and gifts. Usually lilies have a varietal or species name when purchased or gifted. If the name is not known the lily will be described as "unknown" or "lost tag".

Magoo in the 4th pic at the top there is what looks like a lilly leaf with some turned up sharp sides that look like teeth, what is this?
