I'm glad you have those 3 nice ones left anyway. Maybe they will spawn and add more to your pond this Spring. I always have a few young ones that survive getting eaten every year.
I remember reading about this. So sorry for you loss. I lost 30 nice Koi last year due to my own mistake. I know what you are going through. I had to bury my fish as they floated to the surface over a two day period. I was depressed for a few weeks and even broke the pond completly down. I have since set it back up and that seems to help the greiving process I was going through. Best of luck and remember you are not alone. Most of us have had something horrible happen to out beloved pets.
