That is a great idea! You are vrey creative coming up with that. I really like the bar/pond idea. Good job! As Koiguy said, lights and maybe a glass inlay would be awesome!

How many gallons is it?

Wow, looks great! :D That's some very neat handiwork! You'll have to be careful you don't knock a beer into it, I don't know if the koi would like it ;)

Wow, your Koi Pond Bar looks great and with the filter set up, gives a new meaning to "I'll have mine on the rocks"!

This would make a good How-To article for others to learn from, and you've already got the photos to outline the step by step stuff.

gonna have to stick with goldfish in that pond.. a nice rope light on the inside lip of the bar top would likely be enough lighting to illuminate the pond. and cost almost nothing to run even 24 / 7. ...have fun with it! i would put a glass inlay over the pond area tho.

I hate it, but my fish are stupid. Maybe they will get used to the new pond and do better once I have plants in there.

It's not uncommon for koi to jump out of new surroundings so they are not stupid, just exploring. I would keep a lid on it tho cuz they can choose to jump whenever they get the urge!
