New pond

I used pressure treated wood i am going to get a test kit tomorrow for the water parameters and i have a channel dug around the pond to keep run-off out of the pond

Very nice. You'll love sitting out there and enjoying the pond. Our deck is beside our pond also. We sit out there all the time and watch the fish. Even in the winter, we have a fire pit next to the deck, so it's very cozy.

Does anyone know if I am right about the fish type. I also tested my water tonight nitrate and nitrite were 0 and the ph I don't remember but it was in the good range

Do you have a UV light? Great job hiding that filter box with the grass. I am trying to do the same thing right now. It is coming along nicely.
