Many thanks for advice Dave, I am not sure if my shubumkins are cockneys or bristolians needless to say they are as Manx as the hills now (even though they have tails). I will try and take a pic of my two later they are both good looking fish and the bigger one has a fantastic fan tail.

Thanks Gemma, really enjoying it at the minute, and trying not to tinker too much. Just feeding little amounts a couple of times a day. I need a net though the gulls are very interested

Wow! That must be fun, and regrettfully, a money sucker to get it going again? I could see myself pouring tons of energy into making that pond beautiful again and it looks like you are! Thanks KC, it cost money and graft this is true. I wanted something I can enjoy for years without to much more expenditure it's a nice place for me and the dog to chill. I will have loads of questions coming up

Sounds like your already hooked! I'm thinking you're gonna want to make it larger, way sooner than "in a few years" :)

Haha no doubt, I am thinking of a few ways I could expand it. To be honest I love that side of it, the building phase.
