I love that cask barrel waterfall. such a great idea.

I'm getting a lot of string algae coming off of the plastic waterfall. It lights up a blue LED but with the algae it's bothering me. Besides taking it out and pressure washing it does anyone have any suggestions for keeping it clean?

peroxide .Turn the pump off spray it with peroxide and wait 15 minutes or so and turn back on and a toilet bowl brush from the dollar store woks wonders also remember peroxide needs to be kept in a dark bottle it breaks down under sunlight
