No slime coat

One of the fish I just bought has no slime coat. It feels like a shark, but it's a koi. I added stress coat and am planning to add salt. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It could be a variety of koi that has no scales! I've had several over the years. I believe they are doitsu. Some have just a row of scales along the dorsal fin. Hold off on adding salt, these koi can be sensitive to any type of chemical
