Copper head ahhh no biggie but the timber rattler I have seen down there in Maryland jersey areas and damn they get big and nasty
They say they tend to be up in the mountains, higher and further north and west then us. I do pay attention when I am mucking out our over grown gardens. I heard plenty of rattlers when I lived in Arizona.

I found this guy hanging out in my engine. He was huge. I watched and waited hours before it finally came out. And it just kept coming....and coming....

Huge! We don't know if our resident is living in the car or not.

I do no harm to snakes.
I have been told I was "Weird".....but I love to catch snakes......ever since I was a kid if I saw one I would try to catch it, much to my Moms distress.....but if they are non poisonous they have a free ride to a new home ......if they are a copperhead then I have to get rid of it. The following picture is of my Mother in Law, she lived with us for five years, she was 94 and it was the first time she ever touched a snake.....just a little Garter snake.......but it goes to show you that you can talk anybody into anything.....lol Jimmy

I remember picking up a ring neck, many years ago, tiny snake, oh my..............what a mistake, it let loose a musk that was horrible!

I used to have a Burmese python, it was around 100lb when I donated it to a snake farm.

We have our share of mice, moles, chipmunks, squirrels, big and little rabbits, ground hogs, birds, they eat well here.
So does everything else.
