Good afternoon, multi year pond owner.

Has anyone ever used a pond vacuum before and how would you rate your results?

We seem to accumulate algae a little faster, and considering a vacuum instead of muck remover packets

Anyone ever tried one of those fish pond vaccuums before?

@PondCatcher
I have never used one. I just use a net w/a long handle to remove any crud buildup that my filter doesn't suck up. Some here use them tho so I hope they can help.

I have an Oase Pond vac that I use in spring to get the muck out. I have had if for quite a few years and still working well. There are two chambers and when one fills it switches to the second while the first drains. I tried a shop vac before i bought this and had to stop and drain it way too much. The Pond Guy has one that is their brand which looks the same and less expensive.

I use a net in one pond, and a pool vacuum in the other.
