I have a water fall in 24-7 but l am getting a foamy like weed that has covered my pump and pipe and also floats on the surfce at the edges. I do have lillies and iris plants in the pond aswell. Does anyone know what this weed is and how to get rid pleaae.

Looks like dead and dying algae to me. I'd just scoop out w/a net or if it's stringy you can take a clean toilet brush and swirl it on there and lift out. Or wonder if it is just pond scum from a lot of plant nutrients dissolving and dying in the water? Not sure, maybe wait and see if and expert on this will reply.

I would not do algae treatments as they can end up hurting your pond and creatures as has happened to people on here. Algae is natural and better to scoop it or whatever scummy stuff it is out then treat it I.M.O.
