I’m building a wooden raised pond 1.5m x 2.4m x 1m height. I want to put tank connectors in to enable flow to filter system,
The question is at what height is best to drill for the connectors.
I’m thinking of drilling for 2 connectors, one for outlet to filter and one for any future need, what’s the best way to occlude the second until it’s needed.
Btw what’s the best size for the connectors
Thanks

It might be easier and better to run your plumbing over the edge of the pond. It can easily be hidden with plants. And no leaks!

Probably a ball valve to occlude if its not connected to anything. A knife valve is a nice on or off.

Raised pond in the Uk there will probably be few plants.
But as an alternative you could run the plumbing down in the corner within the pond and attach another er r piece of liner over it to hide it.

I ran the plumbing for my above ground pond over the top of the liner so I didn’t have to seal it back up. Plants hide the pipes inside the pond, and I intend to paint the pipes and add potted plants where they exit the pond but haven’t gotten around to it yet. It’s only been two years :).
