not bad when the 2400 gph one says use 100 watts and 2900 gph uses 130 watts .I guess both had hit there sweet spots .I had the 2900 gph down to 95 watts with the 1 1/2 hose but wanted the water fall spitters so had to go back to the 1 1/4 inch hose to give it enough up flow on them .

he was up by the pond drinking water in the waterfall then he sat on the bridge watching me water my plants and then cleaned and filled the bird bath so he took a bath I had to then refill it .I then filled the bird feeder so he had lunch and then went over to the geese to sing a song .I have never seen a cardinal so close .He is still out there sitting and I am down by the basement with the chop saw going making another basket for a cancer survivor friend of my sisters .She loved my sisters baskets .She was down at Duke last week and got another clean bill of health .

any one that may need a uv sterilizer topdog sells on ebay has the odyssea turbo twist 18 watt for 31 .75 .Turbo twist means the water spends more time exposed to the uv .Had to get one for my 300 gallon stock tank for new fish for people who built a pond all wrong and had leaks and sick fish .Sorry but they used 6 mil plastic for a 3000 gallon pond .Why would they do that ,because the guy at the garden center said it would work :(it didn't .Sad people do this to there customer just to sell fish and plants and pumps to them to make money and now they have stressed out fish and some sick ones .

Sissy,
do you use the stock tank to qt fish? I just passed on an opportunity to purchase a nice koi, as I didn't have any means to qt it. Do you have to filter it etc? Oh well, I can always plan for the future.

I have a pump in a crate of lava rock and a crate on top of that with quilt batting in it and the hose goes up though the middle of it all ..I just make sure the second crate is out of the water enough to catch the yucky stuff .I have a 300 and 2 -150 gallon stock tanks .300 gallon stock tank has a 230 gph pump and 150 gallon ones have 100 gph one in each one

Same here Sissy, even the non honey bees seem to be in short supply. We have very few yellow finches, usually they are everywhere.
My butterfly bushes are just now blooming, usually by now they are huge.

Sissy my day lilies are beautiful this year, all with massive amounts of blooms, whole yard smells sweet. But my veg garden sucks this year.
