I was waiting and watching .He was pink

made new plant pockets out of window screening for my pond and now thunder and lightening out so undercover .Will be dividing mini cattails up but not now

Thank you been a bad year for me but still getting a lot done .I am woman and I will survive My dad taught me well ,never let any thing get in you way or get you down .I try to think of him when I feel defeated and know he is looking over me even if he can't protect me from it all .There are more problems in our world than my little problems .

Sissy, Your gardens did really well this year!! Things are winding down, plant wise, at my pond. Lilies thinning out, forget me nots, dying off......makes me long for Spring.

I wish I could figure out a way to make a cover for my pond this winter. It's very irregularly shaped and uneven, so it isn't easy.

I am going to put plastic over the hoop house this winter to see if it helps warm up the pond .We had really bad storms last night again 4 houses near me got hit by lightening .

My things is I am my fathers daughter and he taught me there was nothing a woman can't do .We literally bought the farm and dad made it into an organic farm back in the 60's with great success .I went on to work in a mans world doing a mans job and making great money .I retired before my 50th birthday and told my dad I was going to retire at 50 so I made it even though mom and dad were not here to see it .Dad taught me well and then I taught it to my sons ,but some times they listened sometimes they didn't .They learned from there mistakes

Very cool, I like that it all worked out. Your dad taught you well. I made some mistakes along the way, but learned from them.
I am glad I am in a position to have what I have... especially this pond

I have made mistakes until I got access to my dads safe deposit box and found his pond paper work back in 2007 .
