That looks like some nice dark soil/mulch you have in the planted areas. Fish made a nice transition to their new pond. I see you have some of those silver balls also in there.

yep I paid 25 cents for 4 different sizes in a bag after Christmas .6 balls in total .I still have more bags of that black mulch to put in but have to get more retaining wall block and waiting because the manager of lowes told me they are going on sale the end of the month .Fish seem to like it .But now I am worried about all the foresting going on around here it is driving more animals my way .They are almost done clearing 600 acres of trees and they still have another 200 acres to go .

So those are just plastic balls then sissy? And they spin in your water tube just like Colleens do or are they just floating around w/ no water splashing on them? I want the ones that stay and spin in the stream of water flowing on them. Just wondering if yours will do that also.

I don't like it when they start cutting trees around here either. They are doing it everyday here on that mountain right next to us. Makes big bare area's and looks awful. I hope that mountain is stable instead of like the one up the road from us that made that giant mudslide happen.

They spin when they get near the waterfall .I have to use waterproof silicon to seal up the ends .Aggie and bert like to push the balls around .I did put fish food inside one of them and took the hanger piece off of it so the food would spill out every time they rolled it or pushed it around the pond .They all attacked the ball once they realized food was in it .I got that idea from a toy pee wee and puddles has ,you put treats in it and they go nuts chasing it around .I think I would worry to jw with the rains you get and stripping trees like that can cause problems but also allowing the to get to tall can make them get top heavy and up root them also .But trees cut down the roots of them may die and rot and that would make the soil unstable also .2 sides to it and no one wins
