I almost forgot, when I cleaned out my filter it was filled with tiny insect-looking critters; some alive and lots of casings where they had been, apparently hatched. These guys are about a mm wide and maybe 3-4 long, whitish in color, have a tail and up front there are 2 legs out to each side. and then the head. any idea what these are?
