Splitting Parrots Feather

How do you split parrots feather? Do you just take a clipping like anacharis and hornwort?

That is what I have done

Just grab a length and gently pull until it detaches. Anchor the piece with a rock and it will start growing again.

Does the old piece grow a new rounded tip/crown?

Yes, as long as there is running water and nutrients, it will grow and spread. In still water, they grow slower and are not as green.
