The bog is still the most fun for plants - they're maturing and so fun to watch. I often forget what was growing where so it's a surprise to see what's in there. I only keep the one water lily (Wanvisa Red) in the pond and it has bloomed twice so far. The Lotus have a couple of leaves airborne now in spite of their tub getting a lot of ice over the winter. I got some new Shubunkins last August (Toledo Goldfish) and they are just beautiful and most have survived the bullfrogs. I have a new Bronze frog that is living in the bog - no idea what it eats but I doubt it could inhale any of my Shubbies. Happy spring to everyone.

Oh I just LOVE looking at your pictures, Spring was my favorite time of year for ponding. It's so fun to see new growth appear and have frogs and toads show up. Your shubbies are beautiful and your garden blooms are way ahead of us in Cincinnati area.

Thank you! I'm happy that you enjoyed them and I do understand how much you must miss it.
Let's hope it gets warm and wonderful in your area soon too
