thought I would help on this subject, after many years of various attempts this WORKS, I live next to one of the largest breeding Heron areas in the country so if this works (which it does) then problem solved. It’s been 2 years now and no visits anymore. Here we go I ran some external Christmas lights over the pond, ie LED, you don’t have to have them on but I do day and night, (lazy for now) the Herons need an escape route and see this as an obstacle, try it !!
