Stupid question but any “quick fixes”?

Try treating your pond with montmorillonite clay. It's not really a treatment but a 100% natural additive that does wonders for your pond and your fish will love it. Put in a double dose of clay every week until the pond clears. You can't overdose on clay. Koi in the wild live and thrive in mud ponds. Then normal dosage every week or two after that. And definitely believe and do the things the others have said here.

I'd purchase water lettuce about a dozen of them enough to almost cover the whole tub. the lettuce will shade the water thus helping to choke out the algae and in the same breath the plants will help strip the pond of it's nitrates and phosphates
