I am enjoying my hardy waterlilies and started to think about adding a tropical one. Probably Panama Pacific, Tina or something similar. I am zone 5, do you think it is too late in the season to start one? Will I still have time to enjoy its blooms? I want a viviparous one, any suggestions aside the hybrids I mentioned above?
Thanks in advance!

Most day blooming tropical water lilies are viviparous. Maybe someone in your hardiness zone can help as to timeliness of planting.

I saw tropicals for sale with blooms on them at our garden center. Find one like that and you're in business!
