Variety of plants added

Here is a list of what I added to the bog when I started it up:
5 Lilian bulbs
2 lady fern tubers
8 caladium
4 blagflag iris bulbs

The pond has two water lilies and two pickerel rushes.

Everything is just poking up through the gavel in the bog and pond plants all have leaves growing. On water lily has a pad near the surface.

MajorDan- is your bog in sun or shade? Ferns and caladiums are shade plants and may not do too good in full sun. Not sure what type of lilies bulbs you put in but keep an eye on the bulbs in case they start to rot.

Bog is in full morning sun, then half shade (from house) in early afternoon, then full shade in late afternoon to sunset. Pretty mush the same for lower pond. Upper little pond is full sun until late afternoon. The Lily plants came from Lowe’s pond section and so far they are doing the best. I think the caladiums may be toast though.

I forgot about the creeping Jenny that I put on the edge of my the bog where it enters the pond and around the edge of the pond. I also have some lilies from our yard in the waterfall box that look like they are doing well.
