Meyer, thanks for that, but I'm confused as to why the study included pan evaporation rates and not relative humidity levels.
I'm not sure how to correlate the two values.

No sure what your question is. Humidity is a normally a variable factor in determining Pan evap and Transevap. In this study, because the goal was comparison of flora transevap rates to control (pan) under identical conditions, humidity became a constant affecting both rates equally.

I see where Eichorna crassipes is compared to other aquatic plants for evapotranspiration, but how can we use that information for our own ponds?
With 35% relative humidity, evapotranspiration may be a non issue.
At 75%, maybe it's more of a factor.

I think that the most useful take-away of this document is the second section of Table 2 which gives the evaporation/evapotranspiration ratios for some common aquatic plants.
As to humidity, as it rises the rate of any form of evaporation decreases because of the equalization of vapor pressure.
