What To Feed

Actually, I have 2 questions. 1) I’ve always fed my Goldie’s New Life Spectrum pellets. Can I continue to feed this now that they are in a pond or do they need something different? 2). My pleco can’t handle the cold weather months so I ordered a few trapdoor snails to put in the pond. Has anyone had these and do they stay in the pond. Sorry for the newbie questions but appreciate any advice.

You can put anacharis plants into the pond and not need to worry about feeding them. As the pond ages there will be other natural critters and even algea that the fish can use for food. I had a goldfish only pond for 4 years and never fed the fish.
