The reason I ask is because I have have one in my garden around 20 feet from my pond. Someone mentioned that they are very harmful to moist but could not be 100 percent certain. Anyone have Cherry trees or heard about this.

20 feet seems pretty far from the pond. Does anything actually make it in the pond? And is a wild cherry tree different from any other cherry tree?

The fruit is a lot smaller. You would have to eat twenty wild cherries to make the equivalent of one regular cherry. Worried as I heard they can be harmful. I do have a skimmer for leaves that fall.

By the way this is a new pond. No fish in there just yet. They are in a holding tub.
