My aerator is indoors. The rubber tubing for two aerators runs down the outside wall and then underground. The tubing has been freezing, no doubt from humidity in indoor air freezing inside the tubing; I can thaw it out to restart it.
Unsure what to do about this issue. I've insulated the tubing but no joy. Heat tape is too hot for rubber. I suppose I could shine an incandescent or halogen spot on the tubing. Maybe the long-term fix is to drill through bottom of exterior house wall and run as much underground as feasible?
