I introduced six new plants into our 500 gallon pond in late April. While they are all existing, they’re not flourishing as I had expected them to do. I suspect they need feeding. It was suggested that I use Laguna fertilizer spikes but the shipping cost to New Mexico is more expensive than the product itself! What other alternatives are available? Thank you!

I use the Jobe’s organic tomato fertilizer, both in granule and spike form because of cost and availability. I’m not recommending it over the brand you mention or others, just that it’s available at most garden centers and my research indicated it was safe for pond use.
