I want to do a post and attach photos but I can't figure out how. I use a Mac. The image button asks for a URL which I don't understand! And I thought I Was computer literate!

Don't know about Mac's but can't you just click the Upload a File button on this post and pic a photo off your computer and click open, it will upload and then you choose to add it here.

Sigh...I think I get it now! I will do that. Is there anywhere on the website that I can go to and learn how to make better use of all of the features? For instance, what is the difference between a conversation and a thread?

A thread is the start of a subject like this one is called Attaching photos to posts. Conversations are from private messages that someone starts w/ you or you w/ them.

I use a MAC and think it's easy to post here! Some forums I belong to require an off site uploading of pictures ( photo buckets etc) and copying of URL. I "flag" the pics in iPhoto, I want to upload, makes it easy to find them:)

Two ways of adding a photo are:
clicking "Upload a File" which will take it from your computer.
as.png

Or clicking the "image" icon so you can use a photo from another site.

and yes, I used those options for both photos (y)

Did you know you can also just click on a photo on your computer and drag and drop it right here on the post and it will upload. Then you just choose either thumbnail or full image and voila!

Like I just did w/ this one.
