For my pool, I simply use baking soda to raise my Ph. Can this also be done in ponds? It is usually 6 pounds to raise my pool .2 (25,000 gallons). So any idea for a small pond - ~100-200 gallons?

yes ive used baking soda to raise ph. i added a little, checked it added more untill i got it where i wanted it, then added crushed oyster shells to buffer it (lock it in).. baking soda will not raise ph past 8.4.. but it will also lower ph if its too high, but only down to 8.4. i like my ph @7.4

May be a stupid question, but where/how did you add crushed oyster shells?
