I bought a 24" net and it makes it a little easier to catch the koi
Like there is a easy way
In a few more years you will just have to call them and say..
Come on ...inside
and they will run to the net

Lets see, some clear 6" field tile plumbed from your outdoor pond into your indoor pond, submersed......then just ring the dinner bell ;) But seriously, how did you get your wife to let you put a pond in your basement that's all I want to know! Just for reference, how big are the fish (approx) that we are looking at in the photo's? Did you move your skippy from the pond to the basement as well or is it a different one?

Sorry to hear that Koiguy, wasn't trying to be noisy just color me jealous! i would love to do something like you have done with the indoor pond, but alas I had to settle for a few indoor aquariums. Where do you get your fish if I might ask? Do you ever make it over to this part of the State? If so, I know a place not far from heat that you would want to check out that have alot of Koi, up to 3' long.

ive got Weigands about a half a mile away...theyre pricey tho...Tropical Treasures is reasonable and not far..they have a huge selection of fish, plants, and any pond supplies you would ever need.. i used to go to Bueatiful ponds and gardens when i was out their way.

I seem to recall you have some photos of your indoor build in progress, why don't you post them here? There are others here that are new to the Forum and may find them usefull if they are thinking about an indoor winter pond. The framing in particular, since it is the foundation for everything else.
