OH MY GOSH! We've been waiting for this FOREVER!

My initial impression is that I'm surprised the bentonite layer seems to thin - I would have guessed that it would need to be super thick. Can't wait to see this as it develops!

Yay you are doing it! Hope the water holds as I too thought it would be thicker but then I know nothing about these betonite ponds. This is so cool!

One of my best pond books is a DK book published in England. It has a great section on this material and it's very interesting. Looks like it comes in big sheets coated in bentonite and two edges can be sealed/attached with some of the powder? Is it a material more commonly used in the UK?
