It's safe until you run out of blood worms. Then armed (finned?) uprising is inevitable. Either way you will soon be seeing your fish much more often. Best wishes. Dave
Buy their love with bloodworms? I may have to try this... I've been throwing worms I find while finishing up everything around the pond. They seem to like them but still skittish around me. Bribe 'em with the bloodworms it is!
When I was younger I used to fish down the shore with bloodworms. They had four hooks that came out of their mouth and were quite fearsome looking. When I went to buy some dehydrated ones for my fish they were teeny tiny threadlike ones...quite the opposite of what I was using for bait back then...
Bloodworms.... I push those frozen cubes into the water and it shoots from the container like a bullet to the water and these fish go after them like they were the last food on earth --- even frozen.
