Very cool. My pond is just starting to wake up here. It's been cool and rainy but I see the sun out today. Maybe I can get some outside work done now. Lilies are coming up more and more each day, Parrots feather is starting to feather out............looks like there is hope in the future for a summer after all :regular_waving_emot

The color of that water is so unreal, I would have sworn you used fluorescent green liner. Its actually very pretty lol. And you're right not to worry about it, it looks like a new pond? its not uncommon to have algae blooms then.

Actually it's a pool liner ( lack of money) it works great, very puncture resistant actually. I have to hit it very hard with a spade shovel to put a small cut in it. The combo of algae and blue pool liner is what I think it is. The fish love it I have 5 koi from 4-8 inches big and I shub 4". They gave me fishy kisses on my fingers yesterday haha. Pond has been up about 1 year but half of it was winter and kept changing my filter design.

No harm in using a pool liner. Sounds like your fish like it!

I would leave hole less until you see how quickly the water evaporates and it dries up. My carnivorous bogs are hole less and they are drying nicely. Full sun.
