There's a dental office in a strip mall near my place. It had a problem with pigeons, so someone put up a plastic owl to deter the pigeons.

The plastic owl is now covered in pigeon poop.

Is there any sound that would scare them away? Any type of predator noise that would work?

There's a motion-activated sprinkler system that's available. Google it up.

Works on herons and on unsuspecting mother-in-laws...............

Got one. It became ineffective after a while. Was fun to watch friends get nailed with it.

I used talk radio loud by the pond. It worked for a long time then they started coming to listen to the afternoon guy while they ate sushi by the pond :shifty:

The only sound that has proved fool proof around here is my hollering.:arghh:
Of course, the noise is augmented with arm waving and sputtering. It's hard to tell what's the most effective.:)
