We are building a new bog. I have 5' of 2" pipe in the bottom of the bog, I cut slits every inch about a 3rd of the way through the pipe. I only have water flow out of the last half of the pipe. I have a 1600gph pump. Are my slits to close? Possibly to small a pump?

I'm not sure about how even the flow would be from the slits.
I didn't test mine before I added the gravel.
I will say that I can see the water percolating on the surface of the gravel all over the place. Even in places where there's no pipe below.
So, I guess what I'm saying is that the water works it's way up through the gravel pretty evenly no matter where the pipe is.

your testing without back pressure from the gravel is my guess for you to come to that conclusion. once its buried water will travel path of least resistance as the gravel starts to clog up before the bacteria gets to it the water will shift. time and time again.
