thanks guy for all replies, much welcome......sliding float weir to sieve.....finally worked it out.. its simple once you grasp, inlet and outlet are at the same height and the rise of the gate, has to be the same distance from [ bottom to outlet / waterline to top of gate ] hopefully video explains fully.
If your clever the float chamber could be put between the gate at base.

hi all will take photos of build as i make it, plus how to make your own weir slider float [ slim line ]. thanks for all the ideas and help.
