Can Fish See in the Dark?

Just wondering if anyone knows if fish can see in the dark, and if so, how well? I always wonder when my pond lights go off at night if my fish are able to see to school up and go to their normal sleeping area or do they flail around like I do when I am trying to get to the bathroom in the dark because I don't want to disturb anyone putting on the light?

I'm sure you have seen waters so cloudy and brown it's amazing there's something alive moving around down there . HOW they can sense what's in the area and not swim into the rocks etc. can they sense the water is moving around an object ... probably.. is it by sight minimally maybe at the last minute.
